TiNY Privacy Policy
Who we are
TiNY is a creative agency based in New York. This policy explains what personal information we collect through tinyadagency.com, our forms (including LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms), and our marketing, and what we do with it.
In this policy, "TiNY," "we," "us" and "our" mean TiNY. "You" means anyone who visits our site, fills out one of our forms, or contacts us.
The short version: we collect only what we need to send you what you asked for and to follow up about our work. We never sell your information, and we don't spam.
Information we collect
We collect information in three ways.
Information you give us. When you download a resource such as The TiNY Book of Ideas, request a consultation, or email us, we collect what you provide. This is usually your name, company and email address, plus anything you choose to include in a message.
Information from LinkedIn. If you fill out one of our LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms, LinkedIn shares the details you submit with us. This can include your name, email address, company, job title, and answers to any questions on the form. LinkedIn may pre-fill some fields from your profile, and you can review or edit them before submitting.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our site, our website platform and analytics tools collect standard technical information. This includes your browser type, device, approximate location based on IP address, the pages you view, and how you arrived at our site.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
Send you the resource you requested.
Follow up about it, including offering a free consultation. If you sign up for The TiNY Book of Ideas, we'll typically reach out within a week or two.
Respond to your questions and requests.
Occasionally tell you about TiNY's services, workshops or new resources. Every marketing email includes a way to opt out.
Understand how people use our site and ads, so we can improve them.
Comply with the law and protect our rights.
How we share your information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only in these cases:
Service providers that help us run our business, such as our website host, email and contact management tools, and analytics providers. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
Advertising platforms such as LinkedIn, to measure how our ads perform and to show our ads to relevant audiences.
Legal reasons, when required by law or to protect the rights, safety or property of TiNY or others.
Business changes, if TiNY is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Your information would remain covered by this policy.
Cookies and tracking
Our site uses cookies and similar technologies. These help the site work, show us which pages people visit, and measure our advertising. For example, we may use the LinkedIn Insight Tag to see whether people who saw our LinkedIn ads later visited our site or filled out a form.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. You can also manage LinkedIn ad preferences in your LinkedIn account settings. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the site work.
Keeping your information safe
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, or as long as the law requires. We use reasonable safeguards to protect it. No method of storing or sending data online is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
Unsubscribe. Use the link in any marketing email, or email us, and we'll stop sending them.
Access, correct or delete. Ask us what information we hold about you, and we'll correct or delete it on request.
Additional rights. Depending on where you live, such as California or the European Union, you may have further rights under local privacy laws. These can include the right to know how your data is used, to object to certain uses, or to complain to a data protection authority. We'll honor these requests as the law requires.
To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on it.
Children
Our site and services are meant for business professionals. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
